The second annual Friends Day adds to the fun of the Poetry Marathon! Friends have a chance to tour the Homestead cellar and to anchor a lively hour of poem readings.

Cellar Tour

Friends of the Emily Dickinson Museum are invited on a behind-the-scenes trip to the Homestead cellar, complete with a few special stories, reading of poems, and "cellar refreshments." Descents to the cellar will begin at 10 am, 12pm, and 3pm. Tours are expected to last appromimately 30-45 minutes each.

There is no charge for this program, but space is limited to 10 people per tour.

Friends Anchor a Poetry Marathon Hour

Friends have two chances to anchor an hour of lively poetry reading. The first hour on Saturday runs from 11 am to 12 pm and the second hour from 2 pm to 3 pm.
