The Museum is happy to arrange group tours. For purposes of guided tours, a group is defined as six or more people. Groups of 12 or more will be evenly divided into smaller groups to provide a more enjoyable experience. Group rates are available.

Reservations for group tours must be made at least two weeks in advance and are subject to availability. The Museum is best able to accommodate groups that can begin their tour between nine and noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Groups may visit the Homestead, The Evergreens or both. To learn more about our tours, click here.

The Museum welcomes groups with a variety of interests. Recent groups who have enjoyed our tours include:

- Book Clubs
- Literary Clubs
- Red Hat Society
- Library Friends Groups
- College Classes
- Reunions—college alumni / families
- Garden Clubs

School field trips (grades 1-12) are also welcome at the Museum. Most school visits take place at the Homestead only. Because May and June are especially busy, we recommend that you schedule your class trip early!

Your State and Local Cultural Council will have information about PASS Programs that may be helpful when planning your field trip to the museum.

Parking: There is no on-site parking (except for marked handicapped vehicles). Metered parking is available in front of the Homestead and The Evergreens, as well as in the town’s parking garage (a five-minute walk from the Museum). Parking for buses will be confirmed with your reservation.

Mobility: Both the Homestead and The Evergreens are very old dwellings and unfortunately, not all levels of the houses are accessible to those with limited mobility. Ask about your group's specific needs when making your reservation.

Facilities: Please note, we do not offer restroom facilities for large groups of travelers; we have one small restroom, which is wheelchair accessible.
